January 30, 1996
I. Meeting called to order at 6:02pm.
II. Roll Call
Executive Board: Cathleen A.. Connelly, President; Kirsty E. Reidy, Vice-President; Amy L. Plack, Secretary; Gregory R. Snow, Treasurer.
Senate: Alfred Andrade, Shawn Ayube, Heather Cleary, Tanya Corrado, Matthew Defronzo, Matthew Freimuth, Marni Hall, Ed Hallissey, Mickey Lacroix, Jason Mickey, Jeremy Olszewski, Sundeep Reddy, Michael Scott, Derek Sickman, Justin Sprague, Kristen Stagg, Kenneth Volock, Jason Willey, Adam Woodbury.
Absent: Tara Carrie, Seth Kintigh, Jennifer Reese (ex), Tim Tully (ex), Cindy Vollaro (ex).
Parliamentarian: Jennifer Yambert
Needed for quorum were fifteen (15), twenty-three (23) were present at the start of the meeting.
III. Approval of the minutes for January 23
The minutes were approved with minor changes.
IV. President's Remarks
President Connelly entertained a motion to approve the appointments of Jonathan Chaillet, Chris Mello, and Ben Petro to the Senate. The motion was made and seconded. Senator Sprague moved to divide the question into three parts. Motion to divide was seconded and passed. Each candidate's appointment was voted on separately: Jonathan Chaillet and Ben Petro were appointed and Chris Mello's appointment was tabled for review at the next meeting (he was not in attendance).
V. Committee Reports
Senator Hallissey moved to adjourn, as there was no new business on the agenda for discussion. The motion was seconded and passed. Meeting adjourned at 6:11pm.
