Head of Management Department included in Who's Who of the World

Professor McRae C. Banks II, the head of the Management Department at WPI, has been selected for inclusion in the 13th edition of "Who's Who in the World." This biennial book lists some of the most prominent people of their respective professions.

Professor Banks, of Holden, MA, earned a B.A. at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, an M.A. at Northwestern University, and a Ph.D at Virginia State University. Before coming to WPI in August 1995, he was professor at the management department of the Mississippi State University's College of Business. Banks' previous experience includes his position of director of placement for the Academy of Management from 1992-1995; previously he was president of the Society for the Advancement of Management, and for five years before joining Mississippi State University, he worked as an assistant professor at the Radford University, College of Business, in Radford, VA.
