Programming contestants place third

The WPI Programming Contest team placed third out of 20 groups in the preliminary round of the Association for Computer Machinery's Regional Programming Contest at Harvard University on Oct. 1. The win means that Thomas Seidenberg, a senior from Shrewsbury, Mass., Jack Freelander, a transfer student from Auburn, Mass., and Justin Cozzman, a junior from Huntington, Vt., advance to the next round of competition, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Westfield State College.
