The Ad Club of Boston Presents the 1998 Communications Career Conference

College Juniors and Seniors Invited to Learn About Careers in Marketing Communications.

The Advertising Club of Greater Boston will host its first-ever Communications Career Conference for college students interested in pursuing a career in the marketing communications industry. The event will be on Thursday, March 19, 1998, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Hynes Convention Center, 900 Boylston Street, Boston. Admission is $40 per person, with a group rate of $350 from 10.

The conference will feature more than 30 speakers from many of Boston's top marketing communications companies. Students will hear about the successful Volkswagen advertising campaign from one of its creators, Jon Castle of Arnold Communications. Breakout sessions will include discussions on life in marketing communications agencies, account service, creative, interactive, media production and event marketing. Representatives from Arnold Communications and Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, Inc. will close the day with tips on how to get a job. Students will also be able to have their resumes critiqued and have a chance to meet on-on-one with representatives from a variety of marketing communications disciplines.
