"Therefore since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand; and we boast in our hope of the sharing of the glory of God" Romans 5:1-2 (NRSV)
In this passage, Paul tells how we have received God's grace through faith. But even the faith that we exhibit, which enables us to receive Gods grace, comes initially from God's gift of grace. This gift of grace is also responsible for giving us saving faith. In addition to saving faith, God's gift of grace gives us so much more. From His gift of grace, we have peace and fellowship with him, and we also share His glory. As a Christian, if you look at your life, you will be able to find an infinite number of examples of God's grace.
We have a concert this Sunday, February 14th (yes, on Valentine's Day), at Higgins Armory here in Worcester. We'll meet in Alden at 1:45, with the concert being around 3:00. Dribble will lead us in holiday celebrations afterward, so stick around!
