When the Campus Center opens in D term, the WPI customers of Chartwells will have a lot to look forward to. There will be a large selection of foods in the Campus Center, including low-calorie and vegetarian selections.
Chartwells will have five main stations in the food court located on the first floor: Gompei's, Wild Greens, Burger King, Wrapables, and Origins/Menutainment/Market Carvery. Gompei's will offer Pizza and Pasta. Wild Greens will have vegetarian options, grab 'n go salads, and fruit. Wrapables will serve a variety of wraps, sandwiches and panis. A variety of entrees and side dishes will be offered at Origins/Menutainment/Market Carvery.
These five stations will also be accompanied by a comprehensive "outtakes program" that offers prepackaged grab 'n go foods and the "Double Treat Bakery," which will offer gourmet desserts and cookies. This fine cuisine will be outfitted on the lower floor of the Campus Center.

On the Quad level, the Ritazza Café will get a new home next to the bookstore. The café will be accessible from inside and outside the bookstore, and will continue to serve a variety of beverages and light fare.
A number of table and chair configurations are planned for the two food areas to suit a variety of needs. Presently, Chartwells is planning to be open weekdays from around 7am to 11pm or 12am and weekends from around 8am to 11pm or 12am. The food services will be open and ready to serve for the grand opening of the Campus Center.
Burger King will be the only national branded food concept going into the Campus Center. Chartwells has surveyed the students at WPI, and it was determined that Burger King was the best fit for the WPI community. When asked if Coke beverages will still be the only soda brand available, Joe Kraskouskas, head of WPI's Chartwells food services, replied "Coke will continue to be our major beverage selection but we are always open to customer feedback regarding other choices."
