GMP alumni meet at homecoming

n response to a show of interest among graduates, alumni of the Graduate Management Programs held a reunion breakfast on Homecoming Day, Oct. 4, 1997.

Norman Wilkinson, director of graduate management programs, gave an update on program developments and marketing initiatives, then led an open discussion on fostering alumni involvement. Ideas included networking through e-mail and Web pages, hosting speakers and educational events, providing career mentoring for students, and furthering alumni input into the program's admissions and marketing efforts.

"We're looking to build links," Wilkinson says. "We want to tap into a strong group that already exists, and give students and alumni a chance to interact with other groups on campus."
