new interpretation of Euripides' classic Greek tragedy "Medea" came to WPI in November. Rewritten and staged by professor of drama and theatre Susan Vick, the play featured cutting-edge technology with portions that included virtual reality.
The cast of 25 and a hundred student designers, technologists, staff and crew worked on the show. Also part of the production were 11 live microphones, two computer projectors for the VR, three live minicams, two slide projec-tors, dozens of lighting instruments, audio speakers, fog machines and pyrotechnics.
