Attention FPE alumnae

Women in the field of fire protection and fire safety are working to form a network to help boost the profession and improve fire safety. Amal Tamim '92 is trying to get the word out to interested alumnae. Her vision is to convene an international group that would meet at conferences to share ideas and experiences, promote more female participation in the field, and support fire safety-related professional organizations and social groups.

An informal dinner was held on May 17 during the National Fire Protection Association's annual meeting in Cincinnati. Anyone interested in joining the group can contact Tamim at amal.tamim@grace.com, or through WPI's Center for Firesafety Studies.
