Advising honors

Andrea Dorow, WPI's assistant director of student activities, received the Philippi Outstanding Advisor Award for her work with the Interfraternity Council. She was nominated by former IFC president Daniel R. Hebert '97 and the Rev. Peter Scanlon, WPI campus chaplain, who cited her work in organizing community service efforts, her reorganization of the WPI chapter of the Order of Omega (the national honor society for Greeks), and her efforts during Orientation. "She has given life to the IFC by acting as liaison at every meeting and listening with an open mind," they said, "and has become an indispensable asset to both the men and women of the WPI Greek community."
