VOLUME 12, NO. 3     MAY 1999

Tune in from anywhere

The world's the limit for WWPI, the campus radio station, which recently went on the World Wide Web. Broadcasts previously accessible only on TVs or stereos connected to the campus cable system can now be heard with just a few mouse clicks. To tune in, go to www.wpi.edu/~radio, click on "Listening to Us" and follow the directions.

Broadcast hours are generally 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. (2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays), but may vary from term to term. "DJs make their own selections, so there's a lot of variety," says Jony Laplante '99. "We have alternative and classic rock, ska, punk, rap, pop, jazz, reggae, techno, dance, R&B - pretty much everything." The schedule is posted on the Web at www.wpi.edu/~radio/shows.html.
