More than 40 WPI students gave new meaning to the phrase "going home for spring break" this year. Twenty-two undergraduates traveled to Miami, Fla., where they picked up hammers along with their sunscreen as participants in Habitat for Humanity's Collegiate Challenge. Closer to home, 20 members of the Newman Club spent a day sprucing up Youville House, a Worcester shelter for battered women and their children.
