Professionally Accredited Programs

WPI is accredited as an institution by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. In addition, the biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and computer engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, and mechanical engineering programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012 - telephone: (410) 347-7700. The programs in Aerospace Engineering and Environmental Engineering are being reviewed by ABET for initial accreditation. The WPI Computer Science Program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012 - telephone: (410) 347-7700. The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department and its program are approved by the American Chemical Society. The bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in business offered by the Department of Management are accredited by AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
