Abstract
Doris Doerrie is one of Germany's most well-known and renowned filmmakers. Throughout her career, Doerrie has produced numerous works ranging from documentaries to feature films. A number of recurring themes are evident within her movies, including her unique portrayal of love and relationships. Doerrie takes unconventional characters and follows them along a personal quest towards something greater, such as true love or inner peace. Her films have brought her international praise and characterized her as a prominent woman and filmmaker.
