This project explores the design of a noninvasive current phasor measurement device for three-phase power systems. Maxwell's Equations and magnetic field theory were used to create an algorithm that calculates the current peak and phase angle in each line. This is accomplished through the use of pick-up coils that monitor the magnetic field created by the currents in each line. A processor then analyzes the coil data; and displays the current peak and phase angle through a graphical computer interface.
