Over the past decade there has been a surge in Micro Air Vehicle (MAV) interest. This has led to a revitalized interest in aerodynamics in the low Reynolds number flight regime. Several studies conducted at WPI have suggested that peaks exist in the span-wise lift distribution at 60% of the wing half-span at a low Reynolds number. This study sought to determine whether or not the lift profile could be "reshaped" through the use of trailing edge notches.
