Title An Evaluation of Feed the World

Abstract
The goal of this project was to evaluate and make recommendations for the improvement of an experimental first-year course, Feed the World, which focused on societal problems rather than disciplines. Data included interviews with students and professors as well as course evaluations and student work. The main conclusion is that the course was successful, that student engagement in project work was high, but that the course could be improved by adding some content-oriented goals.
