Abstract
This IQP analyzed the stock market by two separate methods: a hybrid strategy combining fundamental analysis with Dow Theory, and a strategy based on the technical analysis of trends and patterns in price charts. After analyzing the overall market conditions, a trading simulation was conducted based on the applied theories. A basic introduction to the various elements of stock trading is provided, as well as details about how novice investors may select a trading strategy appropriate to their needs.
