Abstract The Second Construction Company of Sinopec (SCCS) is one of the largest construction companies in China and handles many construction projects in Saudi Arabia. The company was actively seeking various ways to analyze, characterize, and avoid contract risks in their global business. Through on-site visits, interviews, surveys, and extensive data collection, we in this project helped establish a contract management system that consists of an improved contract management process, tools for risk management, and a step-by-step performance evaluation procedure.
