The purpose of this project was to investigate the future of photovoltaics in society. This was done by looking into many different areas of this market such as photovoltaic history, government involvement with photovoltaics, environmental effects of producing photovoltaics, and the economic effects of implementing photovoltaics and being able to compare photovoltaic energy production with other current methods of electricity production.
