Influenza Report 2006
This "Report" is a freely available - 225 page medical text book that combines the history of past outbreaks and the science of the current looming Influenza pandemic. It also looks at possible worst case and best case scenarios for flu pandemic (derived from past data). The report then relates the scenarios to possible deaths in today's population (Worst case: 180 million deaths, Best case: 1.8 million deaths).

Created by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, this presentation outlines some of the characteristics of pandemics, how an Avian Flu pandemic might affect Massachusetts and what can be done about it.
