Setting up Desktop Wallpaper

Microsoft Windows

  1. First, you need to know the resolution of your monitor. Click on "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel", choose "Display Properties", click the "Settings" tab to see which screen resolution you're currently using. WPI Desktop Wallpaper is available for 1280x1024, 1024x768, and 800x600.
  2. Choose the wallpaper you wish to use and click the link below the thumbnail that matches the appropriate resolution.
  3. When the image is finished downloading in your browser window, click your right mouse button somewhere on the picture.
  4. Select "Set as Wallpaper" or "Set as Desktop Item" from the menu display.
  5. That's it - if you close your browser window, you should see the wallpaper on your desktop!

Macintosh OS X

  1. First, you need to know the resolution of your monitor. Select Displays in System Preferences to see which screen resolution you're currently using. WPI Desktop Wallpaper is available for 1280x1024, 1024x768, and 800x600.
  2. Choose the wallpaper you wish to use and click the link below the thumbnail that matches the appropriate resolution.
  3. When the image is finished downloading in your browser window, click and hold somewhere on the picture. Select "Download Image to Disk" or "Save this Image As..." from the menu display and select a location on your hard drive to save the file.
  4. Select Desktop in System Preferences and drag the image on top of the control panel.
  5. That's it - you should see the wallpaper on your desktop!
