Worcester Community, project G.A.B. (Give A Book) is attempting to collect up to 25,000 children’s books in the Worcester area. Last year they collected over 25,000 books and distributed to the children in the Worcester area and to many social agencies.  Their goal has been to spread literacy across the city and put books into the hands of many elementary children who may not have any in their homes.    Let’s help them collect books! Table sitting can count towards community service hours, and if you donate a book, it can count towards 1 hour. Sign up for table sitting:

Buy or bring a new or gently used book in and drop it in the box located in the Campus Center Lobby during the dates and times listed above. We are targeting children in grades kindergarten through grade eight. The books will be given to inner-city children in June for summer reading.
