2011-2012
Earth Day Sustainability Presentation
On Monday, April 23 from Noon to 1pm in Salisbury Laboratories 104, Sustainability at WPI will be hosting it's annual Earth Day Presentation for the community. We are excited to introduce Bill Spratt, our very own Director of Facilities Operations, as this year's sustainability speaker.
Bill will be presenting on the topic of "Practical Energy Solutions," where he will explore the practical applications of energy management through auditing, behavior management and retro-commisssioning. The audience will acquire a basic understanding of auditing techniques, energy usage, and they will be able to immediately begin reducing their own carbon footprint.
In addition to promoting sustainability at WPI, Bill is President of RS Energy, Inc., an energy consulting firm. His prior experience includes work at Nashoba Regional School District, where as Director of Facilities Management, he saved $1.5 million in energy costs over a period of five years. Bill also served as Superintendent of Public Works for the Town of Clinton and was a Project Engineer at Fort James Corporation.
Pizza and beverages will be served.
