Sustainability Poster Competition: Envisioning Sustainable Futures 2

As part of WPI's 2010 EarthFest activities, the WPI task Force and the Environmental Studies Program sponsored its second annual sustainability-themed poster contest.  The competition took place on April 21 in Gordon Library and was divided into two categories:

  • Technological responses to a problem associated with sustainability
  • Interdisciplinary projects that focus on socio-technical dimensions of social or environmental sustainability

    • Development of a Sustainable Landscape Architecture Best Practices Manual; MQP; Peter Cacciatore, James Hogan, Angel Munoz, and Rebecca Mattern.
  • Technological Category:
    • Ethanol from Sugar Beets:  A Process and Economic Analysis; MQP; Emily Bowen, Sean Kennedy, Kelsey Miranda.
