Blackboard Mobile Learn
myWPI is powered by the Blackboard Learning Management system, version 9.1. During the Summer of 2010, Blackboard released a mobile app called Blackboard Mobile Learn.
Note
WPI does not have a license for Mobile Learn; app users will have to purchase a license within the app. The current cost is $1.99 for a six-month license, or $5.99 for an unlimited license.
WPI has enabled myWPI for mobile app use, but as WPI does not have a license for Mobile Learn, users should be aware that the Help Desk will not be able to support issues with the app. Also, users should be aware that certain features likely will not work properly when accessed from the app, including:
- adding new content to a course(only affects instructors, TAs, or course builders)
- completing test, quizzes, and surveys
- submitting assignments
- viewing grades
- participating in chat or synchronous sessions via Wimba Classroom
- viewing multimedia content
