Windows 7 Supported Software

Below is a list of business and academic software used at WPI.  This list will be updated throughout the year as we confirm that the software is supported specifically for Windows 7.

Software titles will be marked as Supported or Unsupported. 

• Supported software means that vendor has confirmed support for Windows 7.  In other words, their software functions without issues on Windows 7 operating systems.
• Unsupported software includes any software that has either been officially declared as not-supported by the vendor or whose vendor has no official stance on support.

Software titles will also note whether the version listed is available either in the labs or via \\rivet\applications.

* Please note that there may be completely new versions of some software released by software vendors over the course of the year that is supported on Windows 7 but WPI may not support it due to licensing requirements or due to major changes in the user interface.  For new versions of software packages we will test the applications and work with faculty to make it available next year.
