Prof. George Kaminski receives additional $175,000 from NIH to support his research
Prof. Kaminski recently heard that his NIH supplement was approved for the next two years. This will allow Prof. Kaminski to hire an additional post-doctoral fellow to extend his work on Protein Simulations with a Fast Polarizable Force Field. For this project, Prof. Kaminski and his team are working to understand the interactions that control protein folding and binding from a very fundamental computational perspective. This work is currently funded by an NIH R01 award and supports two post-doctoral fellows in additional to a graduate student RA and an undergraduate research assistant.
