Undergraduate Studies

Individuals interested in applying for admission to the five-year program, undergraduate programs, or in transferring from another college or university at the undergraduate level should contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office. The customary application fee will be waived for those applicants who complete WPI's online application for admission. For a complete application package, contact:

Graduate Studies

Applicants for admission to the master's degree program should hold at least a B.S. degree in engineering, engineering technology or the physical sciences. Applicants with science degrees and graduates of some engineering or engineering technology disciplines may be required to take selected undergraduate courses to round out their backgrounds. If required, background courses may be taken at WPI or at other universities.

Applicants seeking admission to graduate studies are required to submit a completed application form, required fee, official transcripts of previous college work and three letters of recommendation. Applicants with no FPE work experience should also submit a two-page essay articulating their interest in the field. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required for all international applicants and recommended for all others. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) results must be submitted for applicants whose first language is not English.
