Morocco
Students are eligible for the HUA Morocco Project Center after completing one unit (3 courses) in HUA. At Al Akhawayn University, you will take one course in Arabic and one in the history of Islam, the Arab world, or contemporary issues in North Africa; at the same time, you will complete an independent research project under the guidance of WPI history Professor Thomas Robertson. This seven-week project center experience will complete your HUA requirement and provide direct experience with the Arab world and its people.
