Specialized Experience

Designed a multiday workshop entitled "Making the Case: Beyond the Basics of Risk Management" to be facilitated with co-leader B. Frederick. This was delivered at the Forum 2009 Conference, Portland, OR.

"Risk Management for Faculty Led Short Term Programs" and "Risk Management for Administrators," Bill Frederick and Natalie Mello. Two day workshop provides an overview of major aspects of risk management in short term education abroad; training for the trainers of faculty who lead education abroad excursions;and preparation for faculty leaders of education abroad trips to prevent and respond to health and safety incidents – both emergency and non-emergency. Delivered at WPI in October 2008 and March 2009.
