New Business Venture Competition!
Greetings from Hong Kong! We are pleased to announce that Wing Lung Bank International Institute for Business Development (IIBD) will continue to organize the New Business Venture Competition this year. The Competition is designed to provide an integrative learning experience for participating students to develop new business ventures and to prepare them for opportunities in entrepreneurship sometime during their careers. You are invited to send one team of full-time business students to participate in this Competition. Each participating team must consist of 2-4 members, with not more than one graduate student, and supervised by a faculty supervisor. The team should submit a business plan on a new business created in at least one of the IIBD member university's countries, and the new business should be launched outside its own territory where the team comes from. Applications should be sent to the IIBD Secretariat by April 10 2007. ONE team of semi-finalist should be chosen from your university by your faculty. Up to five finalist teams will make a formal presentation to the Panel of Judges in Hong Kong on October 5, 2007. Finalists from overseas universities will have a chance to visit Hong Kong and receive hotel and meal allowance from IIBD during October 4-7th 2007.
