Entrepreneur Initiative Series: Introduction to Business Plans
Wednesday, October 5, 2005
Noon-1pm Mid-Century Room - Campus Center, 3rd Floor
Is a business plan just a written collection of thoughts, plans, and milestones? How detailed and descriptive should your business plan be? What elements should you include in a first draft? Where and how can you find help in writing a business plan? What purpose does a business plan serve?
These are the questions we will attempt to answer in this one-hour "Introduction to Business Plans" workshop. Other Entrepreneur Initiative Workshops will cover researching and writing particular sections of a Business Plan in more detail. Attend this workshop if you have a business idea or would simply like to gain a better understanding of the elements that should go into writing a draft business plan. This is an excellent series to attend if you plan to compete in the Collaborative for Entrepreneurship & Innovation competitions this year or are required to present a business plan in a class. Bring your own lunch. We'll provide the drinks.
