Simply put, networks are connections to people that can help you achieve your goals. Networking is the act of meeting people to achieve this end. This workshop teaches networking etiquette and how to make networking experiences most productive. Attendees will practice skills during the workshop. Speaker Diane K. Danielson, President and Founder of DWC Services, Inc., will present. Prior to founding DWC Services, Inc., Diane was a vice president of business development for Spaulding & Slye Colliers, a vice president of marketing for Meredith & Grew, Inc./ONCOR International, and an environmental attorney. She is founder and director of the Downtown Women's Clubs in Boston and New York City and also co-authors the publication Table Talk: The Savvy Girl's Alternative to Networking.
