WPI Venture Forum
The WPI Venture Forum serves entrepreneurs seeking to start their own technology-based business. Sponsors, service providers, and investors (seeking pre-startup and early stage technology opportunities) also take advantage of programs for the education and networking opportunities.
WPI Venture Forum activities include Monthly Programs, Newsletter, free Networking Events, a weekly Radio Program, an annual Breakfast event, and an annual Business Plan Contest. Our membership consists of entrepreneurs, investors, service providers, researchers, inventors, and WPI faculty, alumni, and students.
Monthly Programs occur on the second Tuesday of the month September through June in the WPI Campus Center Odeum from 6-9PM. Programs are open to the public and feature a speaker, case presentation, and expert panel critique of the case. Networking is highly encouraged. Audience members may make a 60-second funding Elevator Pitch for their technology ideas, products, or companies during Spotlight on Entrepreneurs. Admission for WPI faculty, students, and staff is free with ID. WPI Venture Forum members’ admission is $15, non-member admission is $25. Guests are welcomed!
