Teen Venture Clinic

One of many fun challenges throughout the program.  And the winners are......

Just as teens can gain competitive advantages at a sports camp, so can teens gain competitive advantages with entrepreneurship skills.

At WPI's Teen Venture Clinic - Fall Series, students learn that entrepreneurship is not a spectator sport. Acquiring an entrepreneurial mindset or starting a business or social venture takes good coaching, a game plan, teamwork, mental and physical fitness, and knowing the competition.

This WPI "Teens Discovering Entrepreneurship" program is a fun, hands-on, highly interactive series of workshops. Through learning to create a business or social venture based on their own interests, ideas, and initiative, teens begin building the traits necessary to be more entrepreneurial. Workshops are designed to connect young adults to entrepreneurship through self-discovery and team building exercises, mental challenges and talks by engaging business professionals.

Young adults possess the ingredients for entrepreneurial success. We simply teach them to surface and leverage their strengths and to recognize, accept, and diminish their weaknesses through the right partnerships. Participating in this entrepreneurship program is sure to help students develop character, confidence, leadership, and creativity as well as to help them recognize opportunities to add value not only to the community but to their own futures.
