Assistant Professor
Applicants with teaching and scholarly interest in the areas of biostatistics, computational statistics, experimental design, Bayesian methods are especially encouraged. The Mathematical Sciences Department has 25 tenured/tenure-track faculty and supports BS, MS, and Ph.D. programs in applied, financial and industrial mathematics and applied statistics (http://www.wpi.edu/+math).
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree is required. Successful candidates must be able to contribute strongly to both the department's research activities and its innovative, project-based educational programs.
