"While majoring in system dynamics at WPI, I had the opportunity to build a learning environment for Carlisle and Company over the summer of 1999. This model simulated various aspects of auto dealership dynamics and was used to train the district sales managers of a foreign automaker. "After graduating, I was employed for 4 years with Mercator Partners, an executive level strategy consulting group working in the Information and Communication Technology sector. I was responsible for developing much of their IT infrastructure and from time to time I also served on consulting teams where System Dynamics or IT skills were of benefit. This experience was of great benefit for modeling complex systems and building the next generation of learning environments. Currently, I am employed by Ventana Systems, a long standing system dynamics modeling company, where I am excited about further honing my modeling and game development skills. I also hope to pursue a Ph.D. in the near future." - Seth Cordez '00
