Description

This IQP is part of an NSF-sponsored project whose long term goal is to develop and deliver an engineering curriculum for elementary classrooms that will meet the Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering Curriculum Frameworks. During the 2005-2006 academic year the focus will be on grades K through 6. Each grade level will be assigned a team consisting of a WPI faculty member, Worcester public school teachers, WPI graduate fellows, and IQP students. Each team will work together to develop, pilot test, and assess a hands-on exploratory curriculum that conveys simple engineering concepts. Additional information regarding the project can be found by contacting Prof. Rulfs (jrulfs@wpi.edu) or Prof. Orr (orr@wpi.edu).
