Colorado School of Mines
The Kroll Institute for Extractive Metallurgy (KIEM) at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) has a full complement of equipment in characterization, mineral processing, and pyro/hydro/electrometallurgy. In addition, KIEM has access to all of the other materials processing laboratories available in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
