Dr. Rathindra "Babu" DasGupta Receives the NADCA Herman Doehler Award for 2000
We are pleased to announce that Dr. DasGupta, Chief Scientist of SPX Contech, received NADCA's Herman Doehler Award for 2000 on November 6-8 in Rosemont Illinois. The most prestigious individual award for the diecasting industry, the Herman Doehler Award, was presented to "Babu," for his "outstanding contribution to the advancement of the die casting industry in the areas of aluminum high-pressure diecasting, vacuum diecasting, squeeze casting, magnesium diecasting and semisolid metal forming."
