Eck Industries, Inc., Specialists in Aluminum Castings, Joins ACRC

Eck Industries, Inc. located in Manitowoc, WI, is a privately-owned family business with over 55 years of experience in the aluminum foundry business.

From prototypes through long production runs, Eck Industries meets the toughest aluminum casting requirements. From simple to complex designs, in sizes ranging from a 1/2 pound to 2000 pounds, they have combinations of processes and skills to deliver results.

Sand casting mold processes range from the basics through advanced core assembly cells. A variety of shell molding processes, a just-in-time fully flexible air set line, and several types of permanent mold machines are complemented by low pressure permanent mold and high production die casting machines.

To coordinate the numerous foundry processes, Eck Industries has deployed the latest B & L Information System (BLIS).

Eck Industries has a full range of heat treating capabilities including solution heat treating furnaces, quench tanks, and aging ovens to meet most exacting metallurgical specifications.

Supporting these capabilities is a comprehensive quality assurance program that features an in-house spectrometer, tensile testing, CMM dimensional inspection, ultrasound, die penetrant, Real-Time radiographic and other inspection techniques. Statistical Process Control (SPC) is utilized in all practical aspects of their foundry operations.

David Weiss is the primary contact for Eck Industries and we are excited to have him on board.
