Deepak Saha Selected For Award
Deepak Saha, a Master of Science student in Materials Science and Engineering at WPI, is one of four candidates that has been selected to receive the combined Center for Powder Metallurgy Technology/Axel Madsen Award.
Saha will be recognized as a winner of the award at the International Conference of Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials to be held on May-13-17, 2001 in New Orleans. Along with a cash award, a report of the Conference written by him will appear in the International Journal of Powder Metallurgy.
Mr. Saha's thesis is on "De-lubrication During Sintering of P.M Compacts: Operative Mechanism and Process Control Strategy " advised by Prof. Apelian.
