Joint Effort of TA Instruments and MPI Will Make State-of-the-Art Rheometric Techniques Available to the SSM Industry
TA Instruments (Willmington, DE), a manufacturer of advanced high-temperature rheometers and MPI have established a cooperative effort aimed at bringing advanced rheometry to the SSM community. MPI will contribute its expertise in semi-solid processing and characterization to develop rheometric methods for TA’s most advanced rheometer. TA Instruments will provide MPI with a state-of-the art instrument and technical expertise. It is expected that this effort will provide the SSM industry with simple, robust and reliable rheological methods for rheological characterization of SSM in casting plants.
