Girls and Mathematics

This no cost day program (9am-12:30pm) is designed to provide participants with a variety of mathematical experiences to extend their understanding and knowledge in mathematics. Emphasis will be placed on problem solving. The covered topics include:

  • Grades 6-7: divisibility, introduction to cryptography, introduction to probability
  • Grades 8-9: numerical bases, exponents and logarithms, a potpourri of geometry

August 3-7 | Audience: Girls entering grades 6-9.THIS DATE IS FULL AND WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS AT THIS POINT.

Selection: Participants will be selected in the order in which completed applications are received.
