Academic Departments

At WPI, our curriculum, like our students, is both innovative and practical. Traditional subjects are taught in largely untraditional ways, and new programs are driven by real-world demand. No two students follow the same course of study - you are encouraged to explore topics that interest you the most.

Our academic departments offer more than 50 undergraduate and graduate degrees, all designed to help you see and solve problems in new, creative ways. As a WPI student, you'll have unique opportunities including the ability to make a difference to communities around the world through our innovative Global Perspective program, and the chance to interact with faculty members who are at the top of their fields.
