Become a Leader While Taking Your College Experience to the Next Level

Through the United States Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC), students have an excellent opportunity to acquire strong leadership skills that will benefit them as Air Force officers and in the corporate world. AFROTC also offers students a unique way to pay for school through scholarships.

WPI is home to AFROTC Detachment 340. Students in our program learn under the auspices of active duty USAF officers and cover subjects such as leadership, management, Air Force history, and national security affairs.

Students have the choice of the four-year or two-year programs. There are also opportunities for freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and in some cases, seniors and graduate students.
