Arts & Sciences Faculty: Making an Impact on their Students - and on the World

The most effective learning happens when students and faculty are fully engaged in the educational process and interact both inside and outside the classroom and laboratory. WPI professors are committed researchers and scholars with world-class credentials who share their passion for discovery and research with their students every day.

In fact, WPI professors are so accessible to students that the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) recently ranked WPI No. 1 out of 33 doctoral-intensive universities for "student-faculty interactions," a measure of the quality and quantity of time faculty spend with undergraduate students.
