As a PhD candidate at WPI, the Life Sciences and Bioengineering Center will be your base for dissertation research. Immersion in this unique interdisciplinary center will further your appreciation for scientific research in academic and commercial environments, increase your knowledge in your research area, and lay a foundation for your lifelong learning and experimenting.
Within the doctoral program, you will also receive formal training in cross-disciplinary approaches to research, experimental design and critical analysis, presentation skills, grant writing, professional ethics, and pedagogical approaches.
