As the fields of bioinformatics and computational biology continue to change and evolve rapidly, the students who pursue advanced education will be positioned to be in more demand—and reach greater heights—throughout their careers.
With our graduate program in Bioinformatics & Computational Biology, WPI prepares a new breed of scientist to analyze and interpret the enormous volume of biological data arising from endeavors such as the Human Genome Project.
Students use cutting-edge, quantitative techniques to increase our understanding of biology, and to translate this knowledge into meaningful ways to improve health care and the environment. At WPI, graduate students are immersed in collaborative studies, exposed to relevant research, and challenged to break new ground.
